Protection
It is possible to equip horse armor to horses either by manually inserting it in the appropriate slot by pressing E while riding the horse (), or by right-clicking the horse and selecting it from the menu options. As the numerous forms of armor are added to a horse’s body, the level of protection provided by the animal gradually increases. It should be noted that golden horse armor offers greater protection than iron horse armor, although the contrary is true for player armor.
